When you take the step to become an Instructor, you want to ensure that you have the best training possible, maximising your success at the Instructor Examination (IE), reducing your stress throughout the process and preparing you to be the best Instructor you can be. Where you choose to train will dictate your future dive knowledge, skills, experience and employability. As with any career, professional development is paramount to your success and we provide an in-depth instructor development system that prepares you to reach for higher levels and shape the next generation of PADI Divers and Professionals.

The course itself is run over 8-10 days, with an additional day for any remedial work if necessary, creating a relaxed environment ideal for learning. During the IDC you will develop abilities to prepare academic, confined water, and open water teaching presentations. You also learn about the PADI system of education, how to develop good teaching techniques and various aspects of your new career as a dive professional, all while having as much fun as possible! At Sundive we have also added practical workshops during the IDC, such as CV Building, how to use the online PIC processing centre, using PADI Digital Products and a Descents Workshop to further improve your skills and knowledge and give you the best tools to become a great instructor.
